GWENNAP TRAIL 3 - MINING VALLEY TRAIL
This is a rough terrain to walk or cycle – for those that like a bit more of a work out – lasting about an hour walking and 40 minutes cycling. This is a great diversion from the Coast to Coast trail giving you a chance to tackle some harder terrain.
Described as the mining route this trail takes you round through some of the history of the mining past. Alongside Mount Wellington Mine, the powder store at the Round House, in view of Wheal Henry, the Clock Tower, Taylor’s Engine House and Whim, you might find yourself taking longer than an hour with so much to see.
Facilities available for this trail:
Parking – Parking on the side of the road
