This is mostly a flat trail except one steep set of steps. It takes you along the top of Lanner and then down into the village where you can stop and have some refreshment before going on.
You can either park up by the water reservoir or join this trail from the Reduth and Chasewater trail. The beginning has fantastic views over the valley down to Lanner and way beyond. You then loop on round the village. Look out for the granite setts on the trail where the old tramway rails would have sat.
In the village you can either stop for lunch at one of the two pubs or pick up a traditional pasty from the bakery and have a picnic.
1. Start / End
There is space to park the car on the roadside.
2. Join Tresavean Trail
As you set off you are on the Tresavean Mining Trail.
3. Leave Tresavean Trail
As you turn left you leave the Tresavean Mining Trail and continue on the Lanner Trail 2.
4. Up steep steps
As you come up the road you will need to climb some quite steep steps to get back on the trail.
