Coming off the Redruth-Chasewater Trail turn left and head up the hill. It is a bit of a climb but once you arrive at the top you turn off to the right and this will bring you along the flat. From here you can see across the whole valley. On a good day you can see for miles.
The trail takes you along the top of the hill and via a small switch back left and then right you start to go down the hill. This will bring you back into Carharrack. There is a store on the right hand side of the road where you can top up with supplies or on the other side of the road and along a wee bit is a pub The Carharrack Stars.
Carrying on past The Carharrack Arms you’re now in the heart of the village. The road goes on past the playing fields and at the bottom of the lane turn off right. A little further down there is a trail off to the right, hook down here and you’ll shortly be back on the Redruth to Chasewater Trail.
